NEW INFORMATION FOR GUILDSMEN AND PARTICIPANTS INTERESTED IN THE GILMORE FISHER BODY CRAFTSMAN’S GUILD EVENT APRIL TO OCTOBER 2019
The first 80 models have been selected for the exhibit. Congratulatory emails have been sent to those Guildsmen whose models have been accepted. There is the possibility of over 100 models at this point so the exhibit is potentially oversubscribed. Since we are doing “rolling” acceptances of models, potential contributors should get their applications in as soon as possible before we fill out the display. We would like to accommodate everyone who would like to have their models in the exhibit but space requirements may limit our ability to do so.
If you need the documents required to nominate your models contact Paul Tatseos, 248.766.2474, firstname.lastname@example.org

If you wish to personally deliver your model contact:
Emily Reed email@example.com 269.671.5089 ext. 28 6865 Hickory Road, Hickory Corners, MI 49060
Emily is the collections registrar and has full responsibility for the care of all models kept at the Gilmore. There will be a specific location in a secure climate controlled area for all FBCG models held at the museum prior to the show.
The Gilmore exhibit is the first time FBCG alumni will have an opportunity to have their models shown in a continuing, professionally crafted museum display. The Gilmore will be assembling cases specially made for our show and placed in a large central location in the complex. In other words, the FBCG show will be a featured display.
FBCG exhibitors and their wives (or other companions) will be feted at an exclusive cocktail event on the evening of April 4th, 2019 hosted by Gilmore for the unveiling of the exhibit. On April 5th, we will enjoy a buffet dinner for model contributors and their families. We are convinced that the Gilmore experience will be first class in every respect and that the FBCG models will be tastefully and beautifully displayed, as one would expect from any of the finest museums in the country. We believe it will be remembered for many years to come
The Gilmore is North America’s largest auto museum with nearly 400 vehicles on display and over 189,000 square feet
of exhibit space. Last year, 125,000 people visited the Gilmore. Located almost equidistant (2 1/2 to 3 hours) between Chicago and Detroit near Kalamazoo Michigan. See their website at https://www.gilmorecarmuseum.org
